Slovenia: Inflation eases in May
Consumer prices rose 0.9% from the previous month in May (April: +0.8% month-on-month) on higher prices for food and clothing. Meanwhile, harmonized consumer prices increased 0.8% month-on-month in May, edging up from April’s 0.7% result.
Inflation eased to 1.4% in May, (April: 1.7%), while harmonized inflation moderated to 1.6% (April: 1.8%). Annual average harmonized inflation, meanwhile, edged down to 1.7% (April: 1.8%).
