In June, palm oil prices stood at one of the highest levels in the last five years, supported by demand—the Iran war has boosted consumption of palm-oil-derived biofuel, while Indonesia’s upcoming biofuel mandate bodes well for demand ahead. Meanwhile, El Niño has darkened the supply outlook, supporting prices.
