Arne Pohlman is the Chief Executive Officer of FocusEconomics, which he co-founded and has shaped into a leading provider of macroeconomic intelligence, setting the company’s strategic direction and overseeing its global operations. His expertise lies in consensus forecasting and in building scalable, client-focused products for the multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations that rely on FocusEconomics worldwide.

Marta Casanovas is our Head of Research, overseeing day-to-day economic coverage since joining FocusEconomics in 2020; she specializes in emerging and developing markets, currently producing research on Brazil and serving as regional economist for Sub-Saharan Africa, after previously covering the Nordic economies and Central America and the Caribbean.

Matthew Cunningham is our managing editor, responsible for making sure the content our research team publishes is a joy to read, and also serves as lead economist for the MENA, East Asia and South Asia regions. He has been with FocusEconomics for four years and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics and an undergraduate degree from the University of Warwick.
