Serbia: Industrial production moderates in October
Industrial production grew 0.5% year-on-year in October, down from the 1.6% expansion in September. The deceleration came on the back of a broad-based deterioration among the sub-indices. Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and mining and quarry output both declined in the month, while manufacturing production growth weakened slightly.
On a month-on-month seasonally-adjusted basis, industrial production fell 0.3% in October, swinging from the 0.8% increase in September. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production fell 1.2% in October, down from the 1.0% decline in September.
