Poland: Retail sales cool in November
Nominal retail sales rose 8.2% from the same month a year earlier in November, down from October’s 9.7% year-on-year expansion. November’s slowdown was driven partly by a contraction in automobile sales, which have been volatile since the recent introduction of new emissions-testing procedures.
Meanwhile, annual average growth in nominal retail sales ticked up to 8.1% from 8.0% a month earlier.
