Kazakhstan: Inflation steady in July
Consumer prices rose 0.2% over the previous month in July, matching June’s result. July’s print reflected softer price increases for food and non-food goods, and faster price increases for services.
Inflation remained unchanged at June’s 5.4%, remaining within the Bank’s 4.0%–6.0% target band. Lastly, annual average inflation inched down to 5.3% in July from 5.4% a month prior.
