Guatemala: Growth in economic activity eases in December
Growth in economic activity eased to 3.1% in December from an upwardly revised 4.0% in November (previously reported: +3.4% year-on-year). Economic activity was buttressed by the retail and vehicle repair; construction; real estate; financial services; and agricultural sectors. Looking at data for the fourth quarter as a whole, growth in economic activity eased slightly relative to Q3.
Furthermore, annual average growth in economic activity was stable at November’s 3.6% in December.
