France: Industrial output loses traction in November
Seasonally-adjusted industrial production rose 0.3% month-on-month in November, down from a revised 0.5% increase in October (previously reported: +0.4% month-on-month). The slowdown was chiefly led by a dip in manufacturing activity. That said, rebounds in mining output, utilities supply and construction activity supported the headline print.
On an annual basis, industrial production rose 1.3%, rebounding from October’s revised 0.1% drop (previously reported: -0.4% year-on-year). Meanwhile, the annual average variation in industrial production logged 0.4%, up from a revised 0.1% in the previous month (previously reported: 0.0%).
