France: Consumer sentiment rises to over 12-year high in November
In November, consumer sentiment in France rose to 106, after logging 104 in October according to the French Statistical Institute (INSEE). As such, the index stood at its highest level since June 2007 and above the 100-threshold—its long-term average.
Consumers’ expectations of their current and future financial situation and standards of living improved in November, while their willingness to buy big-ticket household items rose slightly.
