Denmark: Inflation gains momentum in November
Consumer prices fell 0.2% in month-on-month terms in November, contrasting October’s 0.4% increase. The fall was driven by lower prices for transportation, leisure and culture, and restaurants and hotels.
Meanwhile, inflation inched up to 0.7% in November from 0.6% in October, while annual average inflation was unchanged at 0.8% in November.
Next year, a tight labor market, ultra-low mortgage lending and stronger domestic demand should underpin price pressures.
