Argentina: Inflation climbs further in June
Consumer prices rose 3.2% over the previous month in June, following the 3.3% increase logged in May. In June, the sharpest increases in prices were recorded for communication, alcoholic beverages and tobacco and clothing and footwear.
Inflation increased to 50.2% in June from May’s 48.8%, logging the highest print since February 2020. Meanwhile, annual average inflation rose to 41.3% in June (May: 40.7%).
