United States: Home price growth moderates in September
The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home price index increased 0.8% month-on-month in September, after August’s 0.9% rise.
Home prices remained elevated at 19.1% in annual terms in September, down from August’s 19.7% jump. Home prices rose at the quickest rate in Phoenix—for 28 months in a row now—followed by Tampa and Maimi. Overall, all 20 cities registered double-digit price growth in September.
