Ukraine: Industrial output shrinks at fastest pace in nearly five years in April
Industrial production plunged 16.2% over the same month last year in April, after a 7.7% drop in March and marking the worst result since May 2015. Steeper contractions in manufacturing; mining and quarrying; and utilities supply sectors drove the overall crash in output.
Meanwhile, the annual average variation in industrial production came in at minus 3.2%, down from minus 1.5% in March.
