Sweden: CPI and CPIF inflation tick up in November
Consumer prices increased 0.1% in November, up from the flat reading in October, and partly due to more expensive housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, which more than outweighed cheaper transport prices. Inflation accelerated to 1.8% in November from 1.6% in October.
Consumer price inflation with a fixed interest rate (CPIF inflation)—which is closely followed by the Central Bank—increased to 1.7% in November from 1.5% in October, remaining within the Central Bank’s 1.0%–3.0% tolerance band.
