Sweden: Economic sentiment hits highest reading since March in August
The economic tendency indicator rose to 87.0 in August from July’s 83.8. August’s result marked the strongest reading since March. Readings above 100 indicate stronger economic growth than normal, while readings below 100 indicate weaker economic growth than normal.
The continued improvement in August was broad-based, with the consumer confidence sub-indicator rising to 84.4 from 83.8 and the business confidence sub-indicator rising to 79.6 from 73.3.
