Slovenia: Industrial output records lowest expansion since February in October
Industrial output increased 6.1% compared to the same month a year earlier in October, which followed September’s 8.6% increase. October’s figure marked the worst reading since February. October’s notable slowdown was partly due to a deterioration in manufacturing production growth. Meanwhile, the decline in mining and quarrying lessened.
On a monthly basis, factory output grew 0.5% in seasonally-adjusted terms in October, which was below September’s 0.8% expansion. Meanwhile, the trend improved significantly, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at plus 9.2% in October, up from September’s 8.6%.
