Serbia: Industrial output growth dips in July

Industrial production increased 0.4% year-on-year in July (June: +2.6% yoy). The reading was driven by a drop in manufacturing production. Meanwhile, mining and quarrying production gained steam.

On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rose at a more moderate pace of 3.6% in July (June: +7.2% mom).

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect industrial production to decrease 6.1% in 2020, which unchanged from last month’s estimate. In 2021, the panel sees industrial production rising 4.4%.
