Poland: Industrial output records lowest expansion since October 2021 in July
Industrial production grew 7.6% year on year in July (June: +10.4% yoy). The result marked the worst reading since October 2021. The notable downturn largely reflected decelerating mining and quarrying and manufacturing production.
On a monthly basis, industrial production increased 0.4% in seasonally-adjusted terms in July, rebounding from June’s 0.9% fall. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 0.6% in July, down from June’s 1.4% reading.
