Poland: Business sentiment weakens in October
Business confidence fell to minus 21.1 in October from September’s minus 18.8, marking the worst reading since May 2020. As a result, the index moved further below the 0-threshold, indicating more pronounced pessimism among businesses.
Businesses’ expectations turned more negative over future production, orderbooks, employment, the future general economic situation and their financial situation. Moreover, firms turned more downbeat regarding their current financial situation and the general economic situation.
