Poland: Business confidence improves in February, but remains pessimistic
Business confidence rose to minus 8.3 in February from January’s minus 9.9. Consequently, the index moved closer to the 0-threshold, but still indicated pessimism among businesses.
February’s improvement largely reflected firms’ less pessimistic expectations of the future general economic situation, production levels, order books, employment as well as their future personal financial situation. That said, manufacturers’ views of the current general economic situation, production levels, order books and financial situation deteriorated compared to the previous month.
