Mexico Consumer Confidence June 2022

Mexico: Consumer confidence falls in June

Consumer confidence fell to 43.6 in June from May’s 44.1. As a result, the index remained below the 50-point threshold, pointing to deteriorating sentiment among consumers.

The fall came on the back of a deterioration in consumers’ views on the country’s overall economic situation, as well as their present and future personal financial situation. In contrast, their willingness to make major purchases picked up slightly.
