Lithuania: Inflation remains stable in June
Consumer prices increased 0.55% in June, moderating from May’s 0.57% rise. June’s lower reading was mainly due to falling prices for food.
Inflation remained at 3.6% in June, matching May’s reading which had marked the highest inflation rate in over three years. Accordingly, annual average inflation came in at 1.4% in June, above May’s 1.2%. Lastly, harmonized inflation remained unchanged from the previous month in June, coming in at 3.5%.
