Lithuania: Industrial output growth gains steam in August
Industrial output increased 18.1% year-on-year in August (July: +13.5% yoy). August’s upturn came on the back of an improvement in manufacturing and mining and quarrying output.
Meanwhile, on a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, factory output rebounded notably, rising 2.8% in August (July: -1.8% mom). Consecuently, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at plus 11.8% in August, up from July’s 10.3% reading.
