Lithuania: Industrial output notches quickest growth since May in November
Industrial output grew 22.3% in year-on-year terms in November, which followed October’s 20.6% increase. November’s print marked the strongest rise since May. The rise was largely driven by faster growth in manufacturing production. Meanwhile, mining and quarrying production dropped at a softer rate.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell 0.5% in November (October: +0.8% s.a. mom). Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 16.7% in November (October: +14.9%), signaling an improving trend in the industrial sector.
