Lithuania: Industrial output growth speeds up in November
Industrial output expanded 0.9% in year-on-year terms in November, which was above October’s 0.4% increase. Looking at the details of the release, manufacturing output grew at a slightly slower rate in November, while mining and quarrying output gathered steam.
On a monthly basis, industrial output increased 1.3% in seasonally-adjusted terms in November, which was notably better than October’s 1.0% fall. Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 1.7% in November, up from October’s minus 1.8%.
