Kazakhstan: Inflation falls to lowest level since February 2022 in December
Inflation dropped to 9.8% in December below November’s 10.2%. December’s figure marked the weakest inflation rate since February 2022. Looking at the details of the preliminary release, price pressures fell for both food and non-food products. However, paid services inflation accelerated.
Annual average inflation increased to 14.5% in December (November: 15.4%).
Finally, consumer prices increased 0.84% over the previous month in December, below the 0.92% rise recorded in November.
