Ireland: Industrial output growth eases in December
Industrial output grew 10.2% month-on-month in seasonally-adjusted terms in December (November: +34.2% mom). Looking at the details of the release, modern sector output increased at a quicker pace in December, while traditional sector output swung to contraction.
On an annual basis, overall industrial production fell at a more moderate rate of 4.3% in December (November: -28.9% yoy). Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 18.7% in December (November: +23.9%), which marked a one-year low.
