Guatemala: Inflation falls in March
Consumer prices rose 0.33% over the previous month in March, picking up from February’s 0.32% increase. The print a marked uptick in transport prices being largely offset by falling prices for clothing, and food.
Inflation inched down to 5.8%in March, easing slightly from February’s 6.0%. Meanwhile, the trend pointed up, with annual average inflation coming in at 4.2% in March (February: 3.9%).
