Greece: Industrial activity dips in March
Industrial production fell 0.2% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in March (February: +5.2% yoy).
Looking at the details of the release, the drop in electricity supply output worsened markedly. That said, manufacturing production accelerated in March.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, factory output fell 0.4% in March (February: +5.1% mom). Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 1.6%, down from February’s 2.3%.
