Euro Area: Unemployment rate stable at all-time low in November
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was stable at Octobers all-time low of 6.5% in November.
Five economies had stable unemployment rates in November, including Germany. Eight economies saw their unemployment rates decrease, including Italy, France, the Netherlands and Spain, while seven economies saw their unemployment rates increase.
Significant disparities in labor market conditions between core and periphery countries persist. Spain (12.4%) and Greece (11.4%) are the economies with the highest unemployment rates. At the other end of the spectrum, Germany (3.0%) and Malta (3.2%) have the lowest unemployment rates.
