Estonia: Inflation climbs to near one-year high in February
Consumer prices rose 0.86% over the previous month in February, quickening from the 0.65% increase logged in January. February’s result largely reflected quicker price growth for transport and recreation and culture.
Inflation edged up from 0.2% in January to 0.6% in February, marking the highest reading in 11 months. Meanwhile, the annual average variation in consumer prices came in at minus 0.7%, down from January’s minus 0.6%. Lastly, harmonized inflation edged up to 0.5% in February from 0.3% in the previous month.
