Denmark: Industrial output rebounds in July
Industrial output increased 3.4% in month-on-month seasonally-adjusted terms in July, which contrasted June’s 4.3% decrease. The result was largely due to a rebound in the production of non-durable consumer goods and the investment goods industry.
On a seasonally- and calendar-adjusted annual basis, factory output rose 13.6% in July, significantly above June’s 3.0% expansion. Meanwhile, the trend improved sizable, with annual average industrial production growth increasing to 2.9% in July (June: 0.9%).
