Denmark: Consumer confidence falls in October
Consumer confidence fell to 3.3 in October from September’s over three-year high of 8.2. However, the index remained above the 0-point threshold, and indicated optimism among consumers.
The fall came on the back of a deterioration in consumers’ views of households’ financial situation over the next and past 12 months. Additionally, sentiment over the general economic situation over the past and next 12 months eased in October.
