Czech Republic: Industrial output growth eases again in July
Industrial production increased 7.0% year-on-year in working-day adjusted terms in July (June: +11.1% yoy). July’s slowdown was driven by softer manufacturing production growth, while electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply production rebounded and mining output expanded at a sharper pace compared to the previous month.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, factory output rose 2.1% in July (June: +1.0% mom). Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 7.7% in July (June: +6.8%), signaling an improving trend in the industrial sector.
