Czech Republic: Economic sentiment rises in January
The economic sentiment indicator, published by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO), rose to 92.0 in January from 89.7 in December.
Consumer sentiment increased in January, with the index rising to 82.9 from 75.5 in December. The increase reflected households decreasing concerns over their own financial situations and the overall economic situation.
Moreover, the business confidence index rose to 93.8 from Decembers 92.5. The result came on the back of stronger sentiment in the industry, trade and selected services sectors.
