Cyprus: Industrial output expands at quickest pace since August 2021 in March
Industrial output rose 6.9% compared to the same month of the previous year in March, which was above February’s 3.7% increase. March’s reading marked the strongest rise since August 2021. The notable pickup was largely driven by faster growth in manufacturing production. In addition, electricity supply output gained steam.
Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 8.2% in March (February: +8.6%).
