Croatia: Inflation holds steady in May
Consumer prices increased 0.19% from the previous month in May, moderating from the 0.68% increase recorded in April. May’s downturn was largely driven by a softer increase in prices for housing and utilities. Meanwhile, prices for clothing and footwear tumbled over the previous month.
Inflation was stable at April’s 2.1% in May, while the trend pointed up mildly, with annual average inflation coming in at 0.3% in May (April: 0.1%).
