Croatia: Inflation declines in June
Consumer prices flatlined in June over the previous month, which was below May’s 0.19% increase. June’s result marked lowest reading since December 2020. June’s downturn largely reflected tumbling prices for clothing and footwear which more than offset a quicker growth in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation came in at 2.0% in June, which was down from May’s 2.1%. Meanwhile, the trend pointed up slightly, with annual average inflation coming in at 0.5% in June (May: 0.3%).
