Colombia: Consumer sentiment rises marginally in April
The Fedesarrollo consumer confidence rose to minus 17.5 in April from March’s mine-month low of minus 17.8. As a result, the index remained entrenched below the zero-point threshold, indicating consumers were marginally less pessimistic.
April’s slight rise came on the back of an improvement in consumers’ assessments of their financial situation in the coming year. However, consumers’ views on the country’s general economic condition in the coming 12-month period deteriorated.
