The Fedesarrollo consumer confidence index, improved for the seventh consecutive month coming in at minus 13.6 in November, above October’s minus 18.6 and logging the best reading since February. Nonetheless, the index remained below the 0-point threshold and still indicated pessimism among consumers.

Moreover, consumers turned optimistic over their current financial situation compared to a year ago, and became more confident with regards to their personal financial situation in the twelve coming months.
