Bulgaria: Industrial output growth wanes in annual terms in July
Industrial output rose 8.3% year-on-year in July, slowing from June’s 10.5% increase. July’s figure was partly driven by a moderation in manufacturing production growth, while mining output growth also lost steam.
On a monthly basis, industrial production grew 0.3% in seasonally-adjusted terms in July, which was below June’s 0.4% expansion. Meanwhile, the trend improved sizably, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 2.7% in July, up from June’s 1.4% reading.
