Bulgaria: Industrial output growth deteriorates in June
Industrial production rose 17.5% year on year in June (May: +23.9% yoy). June’s reading was largely due to a deterioration in manufacturing output growth. In addition, mining output lost steam.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell 0.8% in June (May: +1.4% mom), the worst result since May 2021. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 14.2% in June (May: +13.6%), signaling an improving trend in the industrial sector.
