Belgium: Industrial output gains traction in June
Industrial output grew 23.2% year-on-year in calendar-adjusted terms in June (May: +19.5% c.a. yoy). The notable pick up was largely due to an improvement in manufacturing production and energy output.
On a monthly basis, industrial output grew 0.9% in seasonally-adjusted terms in June, rebounding from May’s 0.1% fall. Meanwhile, the trend improved notably, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at plus 7.9% in June, up from May’s 5.0% reading.
