Belarus: Inflation holds stable in March
Inflation was stable at February’s 5.6% in March. Looking at the details of the release, price pressures for food and services eased slightly from the prior month which offset stronger price growth for non-food goods.
The trend was unchanged, with annual average inflation coming in at February’s 4.2% in March.
Finally, consumer prices rose 0.50% in March over the previous month, moderating from the 0.90% rise seen in February. March’s result marked the weakest reading since August 2023.
