Belarus: Industrial production growth ticks up in September
Industrial output growth rose marginally in September to 4.4% year-on-year from 4.3% in the previous month. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 6.6% in September from 6.8% in August.
Industrial production rose 6.8% year-on-year in the January–September period (January–August: +7.1% year-on-year). The print was largely driven by solid growth in the manufacturing sector, which rose 6.9% in annual terms, down from the 7.4% increase logged in the previous month.
