Belarus: Industrial output grows at fastest pace since June 2012 in March
Industrial output increased 11.0% compared to the same month a year earlier in March, which was above February’s 8.1% increase. The print marked the best result since June 2012. In cumulative terms from January to March, growth was mostly driven by the manufacturing sector. Moreover, electricity production was robust.
Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 2.3% in March (February: +1.2% yoy). This signals an improving trend in the industrial sector.
