Austria: Industrial output rebounds in October
Industrial output rose 0.5% month-on-month in seasonally adjusted terms in October (September: -0.1% mom). October’s rebound was primarily due to recoveries in durable consumer goods and capital goods output.
On an annual basis, factory output fell 1.0% in October, a less pronounced decrease than September’s 1.7% fall. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 0.4% in October (September: +0.8%), which marked an over two-year low.
