Argentina: Inflation climbs further in July
Consumer prices rose 3.0% over the previous month in July, following the 3.2% increase logged in June. In July, the sharpest increases in prices were recorded for restaurants and hotels, healthcare and food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation increased to 51.8% in July from June’s 50.2%, logging the highest print since January 2020. Meanwhile, annual average inflation rose to 42.1% in July (June: 41.3%).
