Argentina: Consumer confidence rises in November
The Universidad Torcuato di Tella (UTDT) consumer confidence index increased from 38.8 in October to 40.9 in November. However, the index remined entrenched below the 50-threshold that separates optimism from pessimism among consumers.
Consumers were less pessimist over their current and future financial situation, and over general economic conditions ahead. Moreover, households’ willingness to purchase big ticket items strengthened, albeit only marginally.
