Spain: Housing permits decrease in October
The Spanish Board of Architects approved 10,037 new construction permits in October, according to data published by the Ministry of Public Works. The figure was above the 7,014 permits granted in October 2020 but below the 11,517 permits granted in September 2021. On an annual basis, permits increased 43.1%, following September’s 35.7% rise.
Meanwhile, the moving three-month sum of permits totaled 27,050 in October, which represented a 33.5% jump from the same period of 2020 and followed the 36.9% increase recorded in September.
